You know how on the very very first page of a Nancy Drew book is the crime, even before the title page? "The Mystery of the Jade Tiger" wow. sound kinda lame, but REALLY REALLY GOOD. "Amy is holding the jade tiger," the voice continued. "And she is going to give it to me right now. Because if she doesn't, that'll be the end of Nancy Drew." see what I mean by intense? well threats to kill or not, these books are some of the greatest books in the world.
